I grew up west of New London and graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with an Art/K-12 Art major. I am married to Craig Edwards, a potter, and we have two sons, Nick and Dan. I have taught Art in Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Schools since 1988.
The act of creating allows me to truly be present “in the moment.” Our world seems to be in constant motion so that stopping long enough to see, experience, and interpret a moment is “priceless.” I love exploring a wide range of two-dimensional media: pencils, pens, oil pastels, photography, computer graphics, and printmaking. Working on location or in the studio, I try to interpret nature in my own way.
